We recently got to see a longer gameplay demo as part of the Resident Evil Showcase. resident evil 4 remake. Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi revealed that the game will feature new combat features. The accompanying press release was more detailed. I learned from her:
- Enemy ganados will have new attack types/patterns.
- Leon has new melee moves
- Leon’s knife can now deflect enemy attacks.
- Finishing hits will be available with a knife
- Chainsaw attacks can now be blocked with a knife.
Resident Evil 4 Remake will be released in three editions: Standard, Deluxe and Collector’s. Collector’s Edition contains a total of seven items, including the full game, steelbook, Leon figurine, artbook or poster.
Deluxe Edition has a lot of additional content to play in the form of cosmetic costumes, weapon skins and graphic filters. The most interesting might be the expansion of the treasure map.
The Collector’s Edition is priced at $250/€ and the Deluxe Edition is $70/€.

Estimated performance for this configuration is 1080p at 60fps on low graphics settings. In graphically demanding scenes, the frame rate may drop.
Ray tracing support requires an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 card.
