Konami just announced in their special stream Silent Hill 2a remake of the game that was originally released for the PlayStation 2.
After months of rumors, it’s official. A famous person is working on a remake of the cult horror film Polish Studio Bloober Team (Blair Witch, Layers of Fear and The Medium) who prepares her for PlayStation 5 and PC. The game has a console exclusivity for 12 months, so after that it can be released on Xbox Series X/S.
Bloober Team preparing Silent Hill 2 in close collaboration with the authors of the original work and Team Silent from Konami. Together they respect the original title and want to give old and new players a new version where won’t lose atmosphere. Help as a composer Akira Yamaoka as well as Masahiro Itowho was the art director and monster designer on previous installments, can’t wait to show fans more.
For now, we have a confirmed 3rd person camera like Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake.
We see in the trailer new version of protagonist James Sunderland, who traveled to Silent Hill to save his wife Mary, who had long been presumed dead.
