“New game mechanics have been introduced to ensure that the mode provides tankers with optimal conditions for equal competition. All changes are intended to make the game even more competitive.” read in a press release from Wargaming.

“The matchmaker will select both allies and opponents for teams based on the mode’s rating system. During the pre-battle countdown, players will be able to select a different Tier X vehicle or switch to a different set of gear, ammunition, and consumables in the pre-battle lobby.”

To make combat even more unpredictable, Onslaught will introduce a mechanic called Fog of war. At the beginning of the battle, teams will not know the location and strength (i.e. types and models of vehicles) of enemy forces until they see them.

The exciting mode will offer two reward lines. The first line includes unique progressive 2D styles, badge elements and more and depends on the player’s rank. The second line contains more traditional, more valuable rewards such as bonds and equipment items, and is based on the number of victories.
