It is important to learn from mistakes. Representatives CD Project RED they have already sprinkled ashes on their heads several times and recognize the mistakes that accompanied the development of the expected Cyberpunk 2077. The Polish studio is doing everything to make future projects successful and the players happy. At least that’s how it seems from the outside.

CD Projekt RED’s new growth strategy states that it will test all of its future games on all platforms they will be released on., and not just on PC. This will make the initial stages of development longer, but also give authors more control and confidence in the later stages.

Among other things, Cyberpunk 2077 paid for what CD Projekt RED did most of the testing on PC, which led to poorly optimized and heavily bugged console versions. On PS4 and Xbox One, the game was de facto unplayable on the day of release (Sony even refunded money for digital versions). At the same time, the studio management announced before the release of the title that Cyberpunk 2077 is in good condition both on PC and on consoles. This is where CD Projekt RED has previously defended itself, saying it was misled by Quantic Lab, which was in charge of testing. She should have underestimated the size and experience of the team that was in charge of testing Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt RED is currently working on a story expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, a complete sequel to Cyberpunk, a new Witcher trilogy, two major Witcher spin-offs and a new brand, not to mention opening of a new studio in North America.

It is in Boston that the main team responsible for Cyberpunk 2077 moves to build a new studio and create an action-RPG sequel there. He has a codename Orion project 350 to 500 people will work on it. According to CFO Peter Nelyubovich, this is a safe assumption based on the previous title.

“The North American studio will consist of a team based in Boston and a team based in Vancouver. Developers from Poland will also take part in the project.” Nilyubovich said during a debate with investors about the new Cyberpunk.
