Let’s explain better. Recently, Cyberpunk 2077 has seen a boom in sales and active users, thanks to the launch of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners series. Crossing 20 million copies was heralded on social networks by a revived CD Projekt Red, smashing the peak of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gamers.
The theory of Jaffe, and indeed of many others, is precisely the shooting of increasingly powerful series of operations, such as the remastered edition of Horizon Zero Dawn, which later follows the same philosophy as the remake of The Last of Us Part I. In fact, successes like Cyberpunk have paved the way for similar operations to become more and more frequent. So we expect to see more remasters of very new games in the future, although they are still of excellent quality.
