EA started putting its games back on Steam in 2019, but in most cases it’s still a origin accountor Electronic Arts’ proprietary platform. In the case of Dead Space Remake However, this will not be the case when January 2023 is reached.

PCGamer.com requested information from an Electronic Arts spokesperson and replied: “Dead Space is exclusive to Steam“This means that once we launch, the Origin version will not launch and therefore one step less to access the game, which is definitely appreciated by players who prefer to keep a PC-only account (Steam, Epic Games and other proprietary launchers).
