As promised by Nintendo, it happened. Thursday night was a short Direct dedicated only to the upcoming animated film based on one of the most popular video game characters – Mario. It’s been announced for quite some time, but only now the first trailer has appeared, where we can see both Mario and his nemesis Bowser, as well as other characters.
As we already know from earlier, the main character was voiced by Chris Pratt, who stated in Direct that he is a big fan of the entire brand and that Maria has been playing since the very first part. Jack Black also made a brief appearance in the video, voicing Bowser’s character.
Let me remind you that the film is being created in cooperation between Nintendo and Illumination, which we can thank for a really great animation.
Finally, I’ll just add that The Super Mario Bros. will hit theaters April 7, 2023. We should look forward to new trailers in the coming months.
