Overwatch 2 is the sequel to the popular team-based shooter that has certainly done well in its own right. Therefore, its release was eagerly awaited for a number of reasons, one of which was the quality of the previous game, as well as the fact that it is a free-to-play game. Immediately after the release, perhaps due to this fact, there was a problem with the queue, which we reported to you in connection with the launch of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic. We had to wait several tens of minutes to get in. However, after beating the queue, that doesn’t mean you’ve completely won.
Queues were not the only problem in Overwatch 2. Another was the servers, which suffered not only from the onslaught of a huge number of players, but also primarily from DDoS attacks, which are able to overload them with the necessary intensity and thereby force them to reboot. According to the development director of this project, Aaron Keller, the creators are actively working to fix all the current problems that interfere with their work.
Unfortunately, we are seeing a massive DDoS attack on our servers. Teams are hard at work on mitigation/management. This causes a lot of drop/connect issues. https://t.co/4GwrfHEiBE
