About a month ago, we had an article about a project that had been in the works for many years. Beyond Good and Evil 2 still alive when Sarah Arellano joined the team as head writer.
However, this fact did not prevent the project from officially taking a not very positive position and becoming longest game in history (as Brendan Sinclair of GamesIndustry.biz reminds us).
This lead was originally held by Duke Nukem Forever, who had been waiting 5156 days for its release since its announcement.
However, Beyond Good & Evil 2 has already successfully conquered this number when 5,241 beautiful days have passed since the first preview today (in fact, they are still working on it for a long time). And since it doesn’t look like we’re even close to finishing yet, that number is only going to grow significantly.
From the announcement in 1997 to the release in 2011, Duke Nukem Forever took 5156 days.
It’s been 5234 days since the first trailer for Beyond Good & Evil 2 was released.

But the question is, will we ever see this game.
But below you can watch an older video from 2018 that also offers relatively rich footage directly from the gameplay.
