The early access phase began on 12/17/2021, the game extremely positive reviews and became a viral hit, which for its author is the embodiment of an indie dream. With the release of version 1.0, the price has increased from 2.39 euros to 4.99 euros (about 123 crowns). Game Pass subscribers can jump straight to this service.

Anyone who has played Vampire Survivors is in development, so saved data will not be lost. Luca Galante promises not only minor changes, item balancing, new achievements and other content, but also transition to a new engine. This will provide better performance and greater compatibility. But the engine will be later (the goal is the end of this year), as well as further tuning of the game. Details will be revealed on October 7th in advent calendar style.

“I started creating Vampire Survivors in the midst of a pandemic, after working for a famous hamburger chain and then as a web developer because I wanted to create something for myself in the evenings,” explains Galante. “I never thought that Vampire Survivors could be so successful. This is truly an indie dream come true. I can’t wait for players to see the surprises we have in store for the full game.”

The goal of the new engine is to create the same game with higher performance and compatibility for multiple machines, the author explains, stating that both versions will work. Thus, no one will force you to switch to a new version of the game.
