The Apex Legends Fight or Fright event is back for a month-long Halloween celebration in one of the best battle royale games on PC. Although it did not appear in 2021, where it was replaced by Monsters Within, Fight or Fright returns for a third year. It brings with it a variety of spooky skins from Apex Legends and various rotating timed modes from Apex Legends, including the hugely popular new Gun Run mode introduced during the Beast of Prey event, the nightmarish Shadow Royale, and the fan-favorite controller.
Apex Legends Fight or Fright will be available from October 4 to November 1. Each week, players will take part in a select LTM, with unique skins and packs for sale. Various skins and packs are also being offered during the event: Inner Demon (Ash), Blade Wanderer (Seer), Steampunk Speedster (Octane), Static Spike (Watson), Deadly Teddy (Survivor), So Serious (Caustic), and two Charms of weapons – Hugs Please and Trick-Or-Treat.
Three limited time modes will be available during the event. Shadow Royale in Olympus After Dark is a special version of the trio, in which all slain Legendaries are reborn in a zombie-like “shadow form”, allowing them to run up walls, double jump, resurrect allies and deal bonus melee damage. . Shadows will reappear endlessly until all of their equipment is destroyed.
