The Silence of the Sirens is a strategy from the Czech development studio Oxymoron Games, which at first glance looks like a continuation of Heroes of Might and Magic 3. In fact, this is the spiritual heir to a famous brand that is not focused on fantasy, but on science fiction. Thus, the classic nations are replaced by an as yet undetermined number of alien species and a futuristic version of humanity that fights for its interests on one of the many alien worlds. Like a cult classic, here you will build your city, build armies, and then face other characters in this game in turn-based battles. I have to say for myself that this is all very reminiscent of Age of Wonders: Planetfall, so hopefully the creators come up with enough innovations to make their work stand out.
A release date for The Silence of the Sirens is currently unknown. However, it will likely arrive on PC sometime in 2023.
