Hazelight It Takes Two co-op is without a doubt one of the best and most critically acclaimed gaming titles of 2021. It Takes Two is such a good game that we redeemed it for a review almost a year later, only for a separate review coming out this summer. And 2018’s A Way Out isn’t too bad either, not to mention Hazelight features the writers of indie classics. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.

Given such a portfolio, it’s no wonder there are other activities for the charismatic developer. Joseph Fares and the rest of the Hazelight staff were watching quite closely. Despite this, we still do not know what exactly the creators had in mind. It can be expected that this will again be a cooperative affair and that EA can take care of the release, but that shuts it down. And though we’re no wiser today here we have the first experience of developing a new game by Fares and his team.

Josef Fares himself published a photo a motion capture shoot that naturally involved two people, that is, two female representatives of hitherto unknown characters. Here’s a possible question for you as to whether, after three projects by Hazelight staff focusing on the story of two characters, their new game should be a collaborative effort.
Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for the first concrete details about the game. And even if so, we will still meet the work of the Hazelight studio in the foreseeable future. After all It Takes Two will release on the Nintendo Switch on November 4th. A film adaptation is also in development, which, according to earlier information and speculation, is intended for the Amazon Prime streaming service. Even in the case of the film, there is not much information yet, however, the executive producer of the film it should be actor Dwayne Johnson.
