What Konami is planning revival of the cult horror series silent hills, is currently more of an open secret, with various speculations suggesting we can expect up to four new projects out of this world, including a remake of arguably the most iconic work in the form of a doppelgänger.
Anyway, more oil has been added to these speculations since The website of the Korean rating commission has a rating of a yet unannounced project called Silent Hill: The Short Message. (thanks to Gematsu) which lists UNIANA as the publisher that typically publishes Konami games in Korea.
The title suggests it will be a supposed free PT-style teaser codenamed “Sakura” that will tie into the next major game in the series.
In any case, we’ll see what happens in the end, if anything.
Platforms and release date were not mentioned, but usually, when such entries start to appear, the release is not far off.
