Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands received mixed reviews from reviewers. Some liked the slant towards fantasy themes and wilder jokes, while the other side was not enthusiastic about this work because it did not bring too many serious innovations. But players seem to really enjoy this action-packed looter shooter, which is proven above all by the fact that it managed to exceed all expectations Gearbox had for it in terms of sales. According to its director Randy Pitchford, this is such a big success that other narratives are already being developed that will expand the story of this game world.
The success of Tina Tina’s Wonderlands makes it clear that players need the free humor associated with these brands. If the new Saints Row followed the same path as the new Gearbox version, it could theoretically be as successful. However, someone decided to keep it short, which ended up not doing the game any good, resulting in a disappointment, while the creators of the Borderlands spin-off can celebrate and look forward to other projects from their universe.
