Wesker, Chris and Barry from Resident Evil 1 are garbage in Resident Evil

Wesker, Chris and Barry from Resident Evil 1, or rather the actors who played them in the horror game’s iconic gameplay scenes, look like trash in Resident Evil as they admit they’ve never played the 1996 Capcom classic before.

We all remember those wonderful and silly Resident Evil FMVs: those prosthetic zombie dogs, Barry carrying his magnum, awesome rock music and flame effects. But despite the pop-up characters that would eventually appear in the movies, the Netflix series, Dead by Daylight, and dozens of RE sequels, including Resident Evil Village, the cast of the original STARS team say they’ve never played Resident Evil, and turns out when they try, they’re pretty bad.

Scott McCulloch, who plays Chris, Eric Pirius, who plays Wesker, and Greg Smith, who still sports Barry Burton’s trademark beard, recently sat down to test Resident Evil 1 for the Residence of Evil YouTube channel. Dressed in colors to match their STARS (Pirius even wears Wesker sunglasses), the trio brush past the controller in an attempt to make their way through the opening section of the mansion, ironically deciding to play as Jill.

It looks like they’re using a cheat that gives them infinite health, which is as good as Chris, I mean Scott, almost gets eaten alive by the first zombie, while Wesker, sorry Pirius, struggles to walk. Greg Smith, on the other hand, appears to be quite lethal, easily taking down zombies and dogs with a shotgun, proving that trusty old Barry, who always showed up to help Jill out of trouble, is still alive and well with good health. .

McCulloch recently starred in a Resident Evil fan movie called The Keeper’s Diary, based on the famous “spicy and savory” magazine found on the first floor of the mansion. In other news, Resident Evil Capcom reports that the ninth game (mine, how far are we) will not feature Ethan or Rose Winters, whose stories will be completed in the next DLC featured in Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition.
