Hogwarts Legacy Trailer Could Show New Weapons In The Harry Potter Game

The Hogwarts Legacy trailer may have shown off a new weapon that an eagle-eyed fan caught a glimpse of recently, as anticipation for the Harry Potter fantasy game continues to mount ahead of its release earlier this year.

As L0neStarW0lf pointed out on Reddit, a very quick little detail could point to a potential weapon in the Wizarding World game, although it seems unlikely. The theory references Ranrock, a new Goblin character who was a key part of some of the trailers and promotional material for Hogwarts.

“If you look closely, you can see Ranrok using his gauntlet to block Professor Fig’s stun. All this time I thought he was using goblin magic to create a magical barrier, but now that I’ve noticed it, it makes more sense than goblin armor can block spells,” wrote L0neStarW0lf. “Now I wonder if Ranrok’s power comes from his gauntlets, and if so, I hope that we, the player, will put them on after defeating him.”

You can see pictures of the glove below:

Note that this entire Reddit thread is just theory, but it still presents an interesting possibility in Hogwarts Legacy for players to use weapons beyond traditional wands and magic spells. It’s even possible that Ranrok’s power transfers to you after he’s defeated, and not to the gauntlets themselves. Either way, only time will tell when Hogwarts Legacy releases.

After a recent delay, you can expect to play Hogwarts Legacy on February 10, 2023. The game now also features a PlayStation-exclusive quest and feature set, as the Hogsmeade shop will only be available on that console and not the original console. PC. . The shop itself, the dungeon, and some cosmetic items are exclusive to the platform, although they are only limited to one year.

The creator of the Harry Potter series, JK Rowling, has made several transphobic comments on social media in recent years. Although WB Games states that “JK Rowling was not directly involved in the creation of the game”, it is based on her work and it is not yet clear if she will receive royalties from its sales. If you want to learn more about transgender equality or want to show your support, here are two major charities we recommend checking out: the National Center for Transgender Equality in the US and Mermaids in the UK.
