CD Projekt RED showed the world how to get inspired by the popular Witcher trilogy based on the book series of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The company is following the same path. Craftonwhich became famous all over the world thanks to the hit PUBG Battlegrounds.

Krafton project called Windless he was inspired not by the Western Witcher and the story of Geralt of Rivia, but by the domestic from the science fiction novel “The Bird Drinking Tears” (can be translated into Czech as Bird drinking tears). Now the company is showing how it presents an ambitious big-budget game.

The film’s visual concept trailer is titled “Nhag’s Eater” and refers to the books’ main antagonist, Kagan Drak (a.k.a. Nhag’s Killer). He is also the main character, so we have to play as him.

The dragon hunts (some say eats) reptilian creatures known as nagas. In the video, he cuts off their heads and it gradually becomes clear to us that The Korean Witcher will be darker and more brutal. See full of blood, guts and brutality. But there’s a lot more to the trailer, and one nhag later warns Drak: “Like the seasons, death will return”.

The Nhag are a serpentine race inspired by East Asian folklore. They can become immortal by ritually extracting their own heart, which is supposedly shown in the video when Nhag stays alive even after losing his head.

The books also feature bird people called rekkon and creatures called tokebi inspired by Korean myths. Unfortunately, we still do not know how the project was built on Unral Engine 5 will play. Undoubtedly it will be a single player game in an open world. Crafton decided to bring the fantasy world of The Bird That Drinks Tears to life by taking players to an environment with unique fantasy races and beautiful but haunted locations. All this should be surrounded by a fascinating, exciting and touching story.

According to Crafton, the new project cannot be compared with anything. However, The Witcher from CD Projekt RED is a “sample”. That is why he was invited to the project Ian McCaig, an artist who has contributed to such well-known brands as The Avengers, Harry Potter, Star Wars and The Terminator. We can marvel at McCage’s work in today’s concept trailer.
