Rise of the Ronin is being developed by Sony.

These tips include Ronin uprising from the creators of the Nioh series. Now Jason Stewart, Studio Producer for Sony XDev, expressed his enthusiasm that he can participate in such a project.

Team Ninja Director and Game Director Fumihiko Yasuda stated that Rise of the Ronin is without a doubt the most ambitious and demanding project, which this Japanese studio is working on. Even with this much help, the expected year won’t change, and the game shouldn’t hit the market earlier than sometime this year. 2024 as PS5 exclusive. But that doesn’t mean the game can’t arrive on PC release day. Although this version has not yet been confirmed. Whether Rise of the Ronin will ever make it to Xbox Series X/S remains unanswered as Sony has been involved with the ambitious RPG from the start.
