Tokyo Game Show 2022 has finally kicked off, which means we’ll be seeing announcements and updates for games currently in development in Japan over the next few days. One of them forgotten today’s hero new trailer Published by Square Enix on the occasion of the event, which you can view in the player at the top of the news.
Forspoken puts us in the shoes of Frey Holland, a New Yorker who suddenly finds himself thrown into a mysterious and dangerous world. Soon, she will have special abilities and magical powers that will allow her to escape Athia’s traps as she tries to find a way back home.
The movie focuses on some of the characters and plot that we will learn throughout this “Isekai” adventure. In that sense, it’s a real shame that the trailer is entirely in Japanese, but on the other hand, there are gameplay sequences in the second episode showing the “magical Parkour” and the protagonist’s powers at work.
Forspoken will be available for PS5 and PC from now January 24, 2023. We recently had the opportunity to preview Square Enix’s new action RPG, so here are our impressions.
