You cannot play previous generation games on PS VR2

The development tools are similar to those for the PlayStation 5. With this information in mind, the developers could possibly change their games to work on PS VR2 and PS5 – for example, top titles including the Czech hit Beat Saber, Superhot VR, Astro. Bot Rescue Mission, Tetris Effect, Falcon Age and Blood & Truth.

So far, we’ve seen games like No Man’s Sky, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution, Resident Evil Village, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition, and Horizon Call of the Mountain for PlayStation. VR2.

PS VR2 will hit the market in early 2023. Jim Ryan, president of Sony Interactive Entertainment, previously promised that at the same time as the device Top 20 titles will be published.
