Phantom Fury is another entry in the shooter series from developer studio Voidpoint, which has teamed up with the creators of Duke Nukem 3D in the past to create retro treadmill-like shooters. The main heroine of the whole adventure will again be the cool Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison. This girl knows how to handle a weapon and is not afraid to pull it out of her holster whenever she encounters enemies. She didn’t do very well in the last issue of Ion Fury, so after waking up from her coma, she starts this one armed with a new bionic arm that opens up new combat possibilities for her. According to the creators, we can count on its use against soldiers, robots, mutants and a number of other deadly opponents.
A release date has not yet been set. However, Phantom Fury should arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2023. Given the presence of the Nintendo console, the fact that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are completely absent from the assortment looks a little strange. marvelous. Considering the way Iron Fury came out on Switch, I’m not too worried about how the upcoming retro game will perform.
