Metal Hellsinger mods could be just around the corner, as Funcom has confirmed that future updates to the FPS rhythm game will add the ability to customize the game’s music to suit your own style.
Metal Hellsinger is unlike any other game you’ve ever seen. Launching players in the guise of an unknown demonic female entity with a large token slung over her shoulder, you’ll battle your way through multiple rings of hell to the throaty growls of metal icons like Trivium’s Matt Heafy and Arch’s Alyssa White-Gluz. Enemy.
Music is the blackened heart and soul of the game, as exploding your head to the beat will increase your rage multiplier, in turn adding new layers to the song playing in the background.
What if you could add your own music to the game? Whether it’s your own or copies of some of metal’s greatest anthems, it looks like Funcom can’t wait to let you play the Metal Hellsinger soundtrack in the near future.

Since the game has a fixed soundtrack that doesn’t change as you replay levels, the fact that you can add your own music in the future not only adds to the replayability but also the fun factor. After all, you have to replay old levels over and over again, so why not change the soundtrack (and thus the entire game) a bit?
It sounds like a dream to me to have In Waves rumble in the background as I go through the Red Judge’s Legions, so I hope this update comes out sooner rather than later!
