BUT war zone A Twitch streamer turned a flute into a computer controller, and they even managed to kill a sniper using just musical notes. No, it’s not magic, and the content creator is not some strange FPS snake charmer, but watching the player destroy enemies with a funny tune is wonderful and fun.
In a short video, Twitch music streamer DeanoBeano films a Warzone player with a voice recorder, one of those annoying plastic flute instruments from your childhood. By playing specific notes on the instrument, the content creator can take the perfect shot with a sniper rifle and deliver the killing blow with the final blow.
So if that’s not Warzone warlock magic, then what is? Well, setting up a PC controller is basically translating audio notes into instructions using a microphone and MIDI-to-keyboard input converter, but admittedly, that sounds like technical magic at first glance. Of course, Deano isn’t the only Steamboat to have an aversion to conventional controls, as we’ve already seen the Elden Ring harpist take down Margit using similar technology.
Shooting enemies in competitive FPS games like Warzone is quite difficult, but shooting while playing musical notes is something else entirely. That doesn’t mean you have to follow in the footsteps of streamers, but beating someone using the best computer controller or keyboard and mouse is sure to add an extra layer of fun to the shooter game.
It’s also worth noting that Deano plays more than just a recorder, as they’ve played matches in the past using drums, guitar, and even a Donkey Konga Gamecube bongo. Fortunately, the creator’s YouTube channel serves as an archive of musical computer antics, so check it out if you need a laugh.
