Jos Hoebe, founder and creative director, owns a 33.33% stake in the studio. The Dutch team is the sixth studio that Focus has bought. Hyobe hopes his small team of fifteen will use the publishing company’s expertise to help Isonzo and future titles reach their potential.

The Isonzo happens on Italian front and releases today on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. They face each other on the Italian front Austria-Hungary and Italian troops. The game is similar to the earlier military shooters Verdun and Tannenberg, but it introduces a new offensive mode with multi-map combat.

Being able to cut your way through barbed wire, surround enemies on mountain paths, and control a mortar sounds interesting. You can influence the battlefield by placing sandbags and wire, placing ammo crates, deploying trench periscopes or sniper shields.
