Cyberpunk 2077 mods are getting a big boost as CD Projekt RED has released a set of official Cyberpunk 2077 modding tools designed to make modding the game easier than ever. A set of tools called REMod was first discovered by Eurogamer and is available as a free download on Steam or directly from the CDPR website. REDmod allows you to create just about anything you can imagine and add it to your game.
“Modify and create your own Cyberpunk 2077 experience. From custom sounds, animations, stages, and more, these tools will help you make your own mark on the dark world of Night City’s future,” CD Projekt RED’s official description reads. . on Steam.
Additionally, RedMod works with all existing Cyberpunk mods, meaning you can still use your favorite clothing mods, add-ons, or battle customizations without a problem. CDPR reports that REMod allows for command-line modding, but works best with WolvenKit, a fan-created open-source modding platform for The Witcher 3 and adapted for use with Cyberpunk 2077.
REMod’s release and CDPR WolvenKit acknowledgment stand out as unique among PC developers, most of whom, with the exception of Bethesda and possibly Stardew Valley creator Eric Baron, have little to no community support. of modding.
