Right now, a Minecraft mod can do just about anything. You can create new armor sets to make the game feel like Terraria, or you can just change the world generation to provide proper underground rivers. YouTubers also do things like turn bees into flying Steves, but it’s best not to think about it too much.
However, this particular mod does not change the gameplay in any way. Instead, he just wants you to know how much you’ve accomplished. While Minecraft already tracks quite a few in-game stats, there can always be more, and if you only like to see a good chunk of stats, then you should definitely check out the Better Stats Display mod.
Now this mod is still in its infancy, less than a week on CurseForge, but at the time of writing it has already reached 11,000 downloads. It adds a huge variety of different stats to track and allows you to add filters, switch tabs, and generally display them however you want. This means you can see the biomes you’ve seen, where you’ve mined, items you’ve used, and more.
It also makes it easier to access some of the game’s achievements as it keeps track of everything in a more convenient way. This makes it especially easy to unlock the “Healthy Diet” and “Monster Hunt” achievements, since you can see exactly what you have and what you don’t yet have.
While this mod doesn’t change the game world, it’s a nice little addition that adds a lot of utility, and you can download the Better Statistics Screen mod from the CurseForge site here.
