Total War: Warhammer 3 goes out of its way to bring the events of the world of Warhammer Fantasy to the players through the Immortal Empires campaign. Therefore, the final stage of this campaign should be filled with deadly trials that can plunge your young empire into chaos or completely consume it. There must be many alternatives. If, for example, the undead from the Southern Lands manage to take control of the Black Pyramid, this will cause them to seek expansion and the resulting aggressiveness. It doesn’t take much for the orcs to launch an offensive in this version of the campaign, but the Greatest Waaagh can start, in which hordes of goblins and goblins break into the civilized world.
Wood elves also get their space here as part of an event called “Wild Hunt”, who come out of the forest and try to expand their territory at the expense of the outside world. In space, even vampires who want to gain control of the Empire cannot be denied. I do find the presence of gnomes interesting. They, like the others, will launch a fierce offensive that can only be stopped by completely destroying them. Looks like Total War: Warhammer 3 won’t be messing with you in the recently released Immortal Empires campaign. Fortunately, it will be possible to set when such invasions will begin and whether they will occur at all.
