The developers mark this version as final, saying that this is an important milestone, but the development does not end there. Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord will receive major new updates in the coming months. So fans definitely have something to look forward to.

“The path we have traveled over the past two years has been long and difficult,” said Armagan Yavuz, CEO of TaleWorlds Entertainment. “Developing a game as big and complex as Bannerlord across multiple platforms and in the midst of a pandemic is no easy task and I am very proud of the great work our team has done.”

“Despite the difficulties, this journey has paid off for us: we have discovered many unexpected synergies between consoles and PC, synergies that make the game grow and become better than it otherwise would be. We look forward to getting the game into the hands of our amazing community that has supported us on consoles since Warband.” Yavuz added.

Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is the highly anticipated sequel to the successful medieval combat simulation and RPG Mount & Blade: Warband. The game takes place 200 years ago and expands on the detailed combat system and world of Calradia. Bombard mountain fortresses with siege engines, build a secret criminal empire in the back alleys of the city, or plunge into chaotic battles in pursuit of power.
