Riot says Aurelion Sol is showing off his best TFT 7.5 overall

TFT Set 7.5 Dragonlands: Uncharted Realms breathes new life into League of Legends’ auto-battler gameplay, adding many new traits, dragons, and minor legends. However, in the Dragon Lands, Aurelion Sol’s Cosmic Cub and Celestial Rushing Orb wreaked havoc, resulting in buffs and then nerfs. However, in 7.5 this shouldn’t be a problem as Riot is happy with the current state of it.

Known for his misdeeds, starsmith Aurelion Sol caused utter chaos during Teamfight Tactics set 7, but TFT set 7.5 seems to have tamed the mighty sky dragon.

The character was initially extremely weak, leading to a hotfix in patch 12.13, followed by buffs in patch 12.14, and then nerfs in patch 12.14b when players recognized the champion as an OP.

Before the release of TFT Set 7.5, we asked Riot if Aurelion Sol was still turnkey, but the game’s Design Director Steven “Mortdog” Mortimer confirms that Celestial is in good shape.

When asked about the status of our favorite scaling master, Mortdog notes, “All of the dragons got a general nerf with the release of the set, due to them being reduced in price and things like that, we’re trying to nerf their power a little bit. .

“But overall we’re very happy with the way Aurelion Sol landed in the middle of the set,” he said. “I think the spell is pretty close to what we want, the good thing is that two Evokers and three Evokers are pretty affordable and work well because of their damage buff.”

“TLDR, we’re happy with Aurelion Sol now,” he concludes, and I hope this adds confidence to your day (even if the last few weeks have been marred by black holes).

The TFT 7.5 bundle will include several new Champion Chibis, as well as a revamped Battle Pass with more free items than ever before. It also introduces many new traits, including Darkflight and Lagoon.
