Rumbleverse’s server issues became apparent with the launch of the new free-to-play wrestling-themed Battle Royale, with players experiencing severe latency issues with the game, with some players unable to connect at all. Following some reports from a developer this week, the servers were taken offline for maintenance, but less than 24 hours after they were brought back online, another message was posted confirming more outage issues.
This series of tweets from RumbleSupport tells its own story of how far the Rumbleverse’s release has come; Scrolling through the comments shows how excited new Battle Royale fans are to be able to bombard their enemies with the Swanton Bomb on a regular basis. They don’t like being plagued with server issues, and I completely understand that, especially when a paid battle pass was offered at launch.
An angry player comments: “We’re aware of the issues, but it’s the weekend, so we’ll get back to you on Monday. Thank you for purchasing the Battle Pass and giving us your money.” A very tongue-in-cheek response, but overall a big concern. Battle Passes are known to only be valid for a certain period of time, and if you can’t access the game during that time, is it worth your money?

Another user raises a persistent issue, especially with unlocking items in the Battle Pass, with no supposed experience to level them up: “Is this potentially related to an issue where new Battle Pass unlocks aren’t available? It started around the same time.”
