Genshin Impact Leak Suggests Permanent Card Game Mode Coming in 3.1

A new Genshin Impact leak indicates that HoYoverse will add a card game mode sometime after the Genshin Impact 3.0 update. Well-known expert Genshin Mero recently stated that the Genshin Impact trading card game will be introduced to the popular RPG as a permanent mode in version 3.1. They also suggest that the card game will support PvE and possibly even PvP, which will be a first for Genshin Impact and could be a notable step in adding meaningful endgame content, which has been known to dry up after finishing. the current series of Archons quests.

Mero goes on to say that the card game will provide a new source of Battle Pass experience that will theoretically allow players to reach level 50 even faster. Weekly card games against NPCs will be available once the mode is added, so Battle Pass XP will likely come from weekly challenges and rewards.

The arrival of this new source of Battle Pass experience coincides with HoYoverse’s decision to shorten future releases by one week each, giving players less time to complete the pass and earn new characters in future banners. The new card pool should help balance out the shorter durations, especially since it’s meant to be permanent even after Sumeru’s first few updates.

No further information on the new mode has been provided, but of course Genshin Impact fans won’t miss a chance to joke around. There are many Yu-Gi-Oh! links to Reddit in reply to grouper leak in the card game, given Cino’s pharaoh appearance and the fact that the desert will likely be available in 3.1.
