If there is one game in the gaming scene that few people thought about coming out, it is undoubtedly Dead Island 2. After a great slow runner trailer and a short gameplay trailer released in 2014, the game went downhill. However, now it looks like the project that has been waiting for years is still alive. Proof of this is the Amazon game store, which, when put up for sale, casually posted on its website information not only about when this thing will be released, but also about what the gameplay will be aimed at. run away from the sight of a friend Wario64 insiderwho immediately took to his Twitter with the news.
The plot of Dead Island 2, according to the information he has, will take us to sun-drenched California, where a zombie apocalypse has broken out in and around Los Angeles. In the game, you can choose one of a group of six chosen ones who miraculously escaped infection with the virus and therefore now they drive around the city and use their unique abilities to mow down everything that stands in their way. Heroes should have their favorite weapon and, above all, development trees that they can work on and move forward. Fighting enemies should be a bloody affair again, so your katana or any other tool you find on your travels will never be clean for long. Horde fights should be new. However, I will not allow myself to speculate now how they will be processed.
To add to the new information, we also have some screenshots that look quite good.
According to this leak, Dead Island 2’s release date is already set for February 3, 2023, which is just around the corner. The game should appear on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. The price tag should be at least $70 for consoles, and you can probably expect a similar price for PC as well.
What about you? Looking forward to Dead Island 2 years later
