Embracer Group buys rights to The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit

Acquired rights to create and license adaptations of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and other brands. will allow Embracer Group to develop video games, board games and films set in Middle-earth without restrictions.. Licenses that were negotiated prior to this transaction remain in effect.
