Lost Ark Striker balance changes are officially in the works for the MMO game, an Amazon Games community manager confirmed on the Lost Ark forums. They couldn’t provide a specific timeline for the next balance patch, but at least it’s confirmation that the persistent issue will be fixed. This news comes after months of requests for changes made specifically to the Lightning Tiger Strike class. Players have been experiencing various frustrating skill issues for several months now, issues that tend to make skill chaining and planning difficult at best. At worst, it sets them up for one or three devastating boss attacks.
Theoretically, Lighting Tiger Strike should allow the Striker to land a powerful hit, and that’s about it. However, on several occasions over the past few months, the ability shoots the player through the boss or target he is attacking. It’s a problem. Most of the abilities in Lost Ark aren’t just position based, completely removing the attack chain if you’re in the wrong position, but some bosses force you to attack from a specific vantage point.
The Smilegate development team tried to fix this issue in June with the Korean version, but ran into errors, canceled it, and tried again later.
“From what I’ve been told, this will be implemented in the future, but I haven’t been told when that will be!” Rocks, Amazon Gaming Community Manager, on the Lost Ark Forums.
As some of the reviewers have pointed out, this isn’t exactly a major issue, but it does make raids more frustrating than they should be, especially since the ability is seemingly random when it decides to work properly and when it blackmails you through a boss. , like the infamous hot knife and butter.
If that’s too much for you, there are plenty of other Lost Ark classes to choose from, and we’ve got build guides to help you make the switch. Check out our Arcanist and Glaivier build for the latest two class additions.
