Gothic Remake is simply listed as “coming soon” on the game’s Steam store page, but we think that’s to be expected. To be published in 2023 or early 2024.
This is based on the limited gameplay we’ve seen and a few details from the developers, which makes us think we’ll be announcing a release date sometime next year. The game is coming to PC. Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5.

Something is wrong with the barrier, turning the mines into an area controlled by violent villains. He is forced to negotiate with the prisoners as they break up into groups in the mines. Unbeknownst to all, you are one of those prisoners.
Gothic Remake Updates and Changes
One of the biggest improvements in Gothic Remake is a modernized combat system that revamps the game’s original combat. Moreover, the game also has stunning next-gen graphics.
However, THQ Nordic is clear that the game will be a “true” remake of the original, according to its Steam store page.
We got a preview of the game at the THQ Nordic Showcase in August 2022, where some of the environments were showcased. But since we still haven’t seen the gameplay, it’s probably still a long way off.
