Not so long ago, Diablo 4 was presented by Blizzard as a game that would avoid the microtransactions that Diablo Immortal was so criticized for. However, as revealed last month, Diablo on mobile is a blockbuster that is pulling money out of players’ wallets at an incredible rate.so why not take some of it to the next AAA title. According to Force Gaming’s verified YouTube channel, the gaming giant recently sent out a questionnaire testing potential customers’ interest in possible Diablo 4 editions and related elements offering a papal microtransaction field.
A total of four titles were featured in the review, which is basically the path Blizzard follows, for example in the case of the World of Warcraft series. Of course, the basic version offered only the name itself. In the case of more financially demanding options, a number of cosmetic modifications were offered to potential interested parties, the ability to join the game a little earlier than other players (2-7 days), a battle pass, and premium currency. Cosmetic modifications can be perceived as something completely harmless even for a regular AAA title. However, the battle pass and premium currency are worse. At least the former is more relevant to games like Fortnite or Warzone. Just stuff that you don’t have to pay a dime for and that later serves as a possible support for the creators, providing the player with all the content for free.

Here, however, you pay a considerable amount for the game right from the start, so I find it unacceptable to stuff another vacuum cleaner of money into the title later. The in-game currency is likely to be artfully addressed as well. But for now, it was just research. Therefore, it is possible that he will not receive a battle pass or premium currency. However, I would rather go for the second option, because Blizzard clearly sees, at least on Diablo Immortal, that microtransactions can make a lot of money.
