Nvidia RTX 3000 GPU prices could be even cheaper this month

Prices for Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 GPUs have fallen in recent months following the recent collapse in the value of the cryptocurrency, and new reports suggest that pixel selling prices will continue to fall towards the end of August. Furthermore, it can also affect the cost of AMD Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards.

According to sources close to MyDrivers (via Videocardz), both GPU manufacturers will take “more aggressive steps to reduce graphics card prices,” with Team Green’s price cuts set to be “bigger than AMD’s.” The news follows similar news earlier this month suggesting that Nvidia is helping partners shed stock RTX 3000 to make room for the RTX 4000.

It’s unclear how much we can expect prices to drop, and we don’t know how much inventory will be available at this new price level and overall. As such, it might be a good idea to pick up the best graphics card while you can right now if the promise of AMD’s RDNA 3 and Nvidia RTX 4000 GPUs isn’t testing your patience.

Alternatively, prioritizing the Nvidia GeForce Now RTX 3080 can be an effective stopgap if you don’t have the money to spend on a gaming PC upgrade right now. This is especially true if you’re not planning on getting an RTX 4090, as the rest of the upcoming GeForce lineup is scheduled to release in 2023.
