Special effects specialists are preparing a game from Middle-earth

Fans of The Lord of the Rings can look forward to another video game adventure. We’re taking a look at Middle-earth with more than just an upcoming stealth action adventure game Lord of the Rings: Gollum from Daedalic Entertainment and Nacon, but still in a mysterious project.

He will release this mysterious project Private departmentindependent publishing division of Take-Two, and collaborates with the company Veta Workshopwho has extensive VFX experience on the latest Lord of the Rings films and TV series – has created special effects and props for all three of Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings films, for all three of The Hobbit, and is also involved in the upcoming Amazon series.

“We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Weta Workshop to release a new game set in J. R. R. Tolkien’s literary world of Middle-earth,” the post reads. reports Private Division on the social network Twitter.

“We are thrilled to be working with Weta Workshop to release a game in such a unique and acclaimed universe” said Michael Voros, director of strategy at Take-Two Interactive and head of the private division.

“The Lord of the Rings brand has been home to so many great stories, and no organization is better equipped than the Weta Workshop team to create a unique new Middle-earth gaming experience.” Vorosh added.

In 2014, Weta founded its own video game studio. Looking forward to the release of the game during fiscal year 2024 (lasts from 01/04/2023 to 03/31/2024).
