Yakuza 0but master chief instead of Kazuma Kiryu: This is the result of the crazy mod created by Kashiiera, who introduced the hero of the Halo series in the famous SEGA fight.
The downloadable bundle from Nexus Mods does exactly what it promises, launching Master Chief into the streets of Kamurocho and putting him ahead of countless clashes with criminals and gangsters in the gorgeous late-80s atmosphere that characterized Yakuza 0 (reviewed here).
Nothing is missing: Halo’s protagonist changes his fighting style between the three available, performing devastating combos, but above all it’s the painful finishers that can be activated when his rage bar is full, which has made the Yakuza series famous.
The mod’s author, Kashiiera, is known for her work on Halo episodes, but she has never hidden her passion for the Yakuza, really wanting to turn that passion into this crazy tribute without skipping anything.
Speaking of the SEGA series, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2 and reissues of the third, fourth and fifth episodes are coming in August 2022 if you’re a PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium subscriber.
