With all eyes on World of Warcraft Dragonflight, WoW Shadowlands has been left alone, waiting for players to get their hands on the MMORPG’s next expansion. With the arrival of WoW Dragonflight and World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Classic, the ongoing Shadowlands saga was left in the shadows, leading to a somewhat disappointing ending to the story.
However, Blizzard continues to update the current chapter of the Warcraft story and has released patch 9.2.7 to keep players busy until they can finally dive into the exciting world of Dragon Isles.
Patch 9.2.7 for WoW Shadowlands focuses mainly on the auction house and the game’s user interface.
WoW Shadowlands Auction House Changes
The main focus of the new update is changes to the auction house, which joins the WoW Companion app for the first time. This allows you to keep bidding even if you are AFK, which means you can maximize your profits or win the item you have been bidding on for several days.

AUCTION HOUSE UPDATE: REGION GENERAL ITEMS
- Auction houses on all worlds in a given region will now share lists of goods (gems, herbs, flasks, consumables, etc.). Non-trade items like armor and weapons will still be tied to a specific game world.
AUCTION HOUSE JOINS WOW COMPANION APP
- Players can now perform the following actions in the WoW Companion app:
- View and display current auctions
- Offer and repurchase auctions
- Auction Search
- Add and remove items from your favorites list
- Viewing and canceling listed auctions
USER INTERFACE AND ACCESSIBILITY
- A new chat channel has been added to search or advertise services such as raids, dungeons or PvP activities: Trade (Services).
