In the last few days I have had the opportunity to fully immerse myself in city life. It’s not like I went to Prague, but I finally got to the remastering of Marvel’s Spider-Man. So what better to say about the PC version coming soon. What I felt about all this after the first hours, I will lay out for you in the following paragraphs of our preview.

History never stops
Even today I fondly remember the minutes spent in the city library for young readers. As a kid, I didn’t go there so much for books as to try things I couldn’t run on my flimsy car that could only handle The Lion King and Heroes of Might and Magic II. One of the titles that I came across in this way was Spider-Man. More precisely, the demo of Spider-Man 1, which did not have much success. However, the opportunities she offered at the time took my breath away because she offered me an incredibly fluid hero for whom neither the villain nor the tense situation was a problem.
Maybe it was because of the great nostalgia that under no circumstances could I miss the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC. And after the first ten hours in the game, I must say that I definitely was not mistaken when I decided to apply for this thing. The overblown story, which I won’t get too deep into, centers on Peter Parker, who certainly doesn’t have the idyllic life that Tom Holland had in the early parts of his movie adventures. Thanks to this, instead of a novice hero, I got a guy who already has some life experience behind him. So his goal is not only to kick ass. He’s also trying to live a normal adult life, which isn’t easy given how wild and criminal Manhattan is.
In addition, the character himself has already been profiled among the population from the very beginning, so this is definitely not the case when the world considers me as a new object in the streets teeming with criminal activity. And that’s what I really like about Marvel’s Spider-Man remastering. After all, I wasn’t a beginner without a significant past, but I immediately slipped into the shoes of a hero that women dream about at night, men want to be like him, and enemies who fear even the thought of him. I will save a more detailed analysis of the plot and its qualities (they are really high) for another time, and will immediately move on to the gameplay. In other words, how I actually raced through this huge game world, after all, this is the PC version.
Flies like a butterfly, stings like a bee
I’ll tell you straight. Beautiful town. In addition, the Spider-Man character himself can fully work with the potential that skyscrapers offer, thanks to which I devoured every moment on the streets of Manhattan. However, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is not a walking simulator or a game focused on flying over the heads of ordinary people.
He mainly bets on the event and I more than enjoyed that. There were enough troublemakers on the streets. As a result, I’ve never had trouble finding a bad guy to show what the web is all about. There were usually too many. However, the collisions are smooth and cannot be called extremely difficult. The main thing was to keep moving and not get hit. In general, the combat system is relatively complex, but more space will be given to it in the review.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered gave me a great experience in the first ten hours of playing on PC, and I certainly don’t expect the pace of the story or the game itself to slow down significantly. The game world seems incredibly complex. Although the quests are simple, at least I’m not too bored at the moment, so I really enjoy doing them in a wonderful city. The combat system is dynamic and evokes my memories of the last Batman, to which it is very close in terms of gameplay.
It differs from it primarily in one rather fundamental factor. Unlike Batman: Arkham Knight, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is optimized for number one before release. In the last ten hours of flying around the city, I have not experienced a significant drop in the picture or other technical difficulties at high settings. It is possible that the problems are just ahead of me. However, I don’t think that this game can significantly spoil my impression in the following days when I play it and swallow Manhattan.
