Gamescom is slowly approaching, and with it the Opening Night Live event, which will open the entire fair. It is again moderated by Geoff Keighley, who is also behind Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards in December. It was he who now announced the first details about the upcoming transfer.
According to Kaylee, the show will run for about 2 hours and will feature over 30 titles. Two of them have already been revealed.
The first is a new game from Unknown Worlds, the studio behind the survival hit Subnautica and its spin-off Below Zero. However, this time they have embarked on something completely new, working on a sci-fi turn-based strategy game. Within the framework of the show, there should be not only a performance, but also a demonstration of the gameplay.

The second name is Sonic Frontiers. The upcoming game from the popular series was shown several times, but it never convinced the fans. So let’s see if it works this time.

The opening of Night Live will take place on Tuesday, August 23 at 20:00 local time in Cologne. So if you are there, you can buy tickets and watch the event live. Of course, it will also be streamed online on all major platforms.
