Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still alive

Beyond Good and Evil 2 from Ubisoft is one of those fabulous projects that have been in the works for quite a few years (the first information about the game dates back to 2008), when the fans, in principle, did not even have much hope that the title would ever come out.

However, you may remember this gameplay video that was released in 2018.

However, the project still appears in the company’s financial statements, and from time to time some new tidbit of information about the game appears, reviving the flame of hope.

And this happened very recently, because Sara Arellanowho worked as a story designer for World of Warcraft and the upcoming Saints Row, updated her profile with information that she became the lead writer of this long-term project.

Changing this position may end up meaning different things for the game (like restarting development), but it also confirms that it is obviously still a work in progress.

Well, we’ll see if we ever see her anyway. But hope dies last.
