It’s been a minute – four months to be exact – since League of Legends developer Riot Games released new information about Udyr’s visual and gameplay update (VGU). But now it looks like Spirit Walker is finally on the way as the studio released a brand new trailer today.
“Udyr, with his ability to communicate with all the spirits of the Freljord, channels their spiritual energy and transforms it into his own brutal physical fighting style,” Riot explains. “Udyr, through his growing mastery of this awesome and multi-faceted power, seeks to maintain balance in the mystical landscape of the Freljord, where strife and strife are the lifeblood…and sacrifices must be made to keep the peace at a distance.”
This new Udyr, which we spotted on the January dev blog, fits the vibe of the “Freljord spirit ship” perfectly, making a fatherly offer to Jason Mamoa.
