The Chinese RPG series called The Legend of Sword and Fairy (also known as Chinese Paladin) has been around for 27 years, but like many other Chinese games, most of the time it remained popular only in its homeland, not getting proper localization and distribution in western world. But now everything is changing, and we can enjoy the latest part not only on PC (it was released on Steam last year and has a positive rating of 71% of the players), but now also on the PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles.

Also in our editorial team we are currently working on preparing a review of the PS5 version, where the game runs very quickly and uses, among other things, lightning-fast SSD load times. It’s too early to give a verdict, but I can already say that the game works very well as a standalone story, and the combat system is so interesting that it made me look forward to Forspoken. Plus the game looks great and the Chinese mythology is interesting in itself.
You can buy the game from the PS Store for 1049 CZK, unfortunately the beautiful physical edition won’t arrive until next year.
