This Minecraft Mod Turned Bees Into Flying Steves

Mobs in Minecraft are generally pretty cute. Sure, The Guardian has a face only a mother could love, but Alley’s innate charm is undeniable. Well, a Minecraft mod youtuber named RaineyX decided that Minecraft wasn’t cursed enough and took it upon himself to change that.

RaineyX makes a lot of videos of Minecraft monsters, often altering their appearance to make them more realistic or recreating them as characters from other games. This time, RaineyX decided enough was enough; they just wanted to ruin minecraft by corrupting all the mobs. Some of them are quite simple, like making the spiders very long; others are a little more anxious.

Before we get to the nightmares, let’s talk about bees. The first mob that RaineyX changes is the humble bee from Minecraft. You know the cute little things that buzz? Well, now they’re all Steve. Watching a group of Steves fly is definitely weird, possibly terrifying, and possibly even life changing. Who will tell?

The Creepers are hit by Pyramid Head and they all turn into living, living pyramids. It’s not good and as RaineyX asks, what’s wrong with them? From there, you have a skeleton sheep and a giant Enderdragon hound. It’s a series of weird changes that actually result in a weird bug where the Endermen disappear, making the game more or less invincible.

Despite all this, the main mob that still haunts our dreams is the Minecraft Lego pig, which appeared a few months ago. Why does he have human hands in Lego? What do you want from us? Why does it appear every time the lights go out?

In terms of less scary news, you can now enjoy the wonders of Breath of the Wild in Minecraft thanks to some very clever modders.
