As the roster of killers in Dead by Daylight (literally) continues to grow, the development team at Behavior Interactive is adding another creepy game to its horror game arsenal: Meet Your Maker. A post-apocalyptic construction and assault game, it will be available in early access at the end of August.
Set amidst the desert plains of a world plagued by infectious diseases, Meet Your Maker’s towering brutalist-style bases are eerily reminiscent of the 2012 film Dredd.
The world around you is destroyed, and the key to your survival (and perhaps the survival of humanity as a whole) is the mysterious Chimera, which you keep at the cost of your life. To keep it healthy, you’ll have to raid enemy bases to extract genetic material or die trying.
What makes these bases unique, however, is that they are figments of other players’ imaginations, making them deadly to those who can’t control them.
Sound like a good Friday night for you and your friends? Here you will find everything you need to know about Meet Your Maker.

Gameplay and Story Meet Your Creator
Meet Your Maker is a kill or be killed game. Taking the place of the Guardian, the character in charge of taking care of the Chimera, you attack enemy bases in search of genetic material, alone or as a team.
However, its inhabitants often attack you, so you’ll need to find a giant death trap to keep them away. Players can choose from a variety of end-of-life tools, such as spike traps, bloodthirsty minions whose paths you control, and floating magma cubes.
To avoid them, you can choose from a variety of different tools, ranging from grenades to grappling hooks. You do generate a certain amount of ammo though, so make sure to grab it when you can!
After a successful raid, you will return to your hideout, where your chimera lives, and local experts can upgrade your gear. This is where you can find out who attacked your base and how far they advanced (skull banners mark their kill points). You can also plan your next adventure by reading the map.
