Still waiting for your Steam platform to arrive? Well fear not, as Valve has confirmed that all pending pre-orders will arrive before the end of the year. The PDA won’t be in everyone’s hands for the next few weeks, but the gaming PC giant says it’ll still have a few more pre-orders before October.

In their latest tweet about the update, Valve says that they fixed the issue. steam bridge supply chain problems. Additionally, the company states, “Anyone who has a pre-order currently can get their deck on Steam by the end of this year,” meaning more gamers will soon get their hands on a portable powerhouse.

Not everyone will receive their Steam decks at the same time, as Valve still divides pre-order processing into quarters. In other words, some impatient fans will get the PDA before the end of September (insert Green Day joke here), while others will have to wait until the end of the year.

Before you get too excited, it’s best to save your excitement for when you receive the Steam Deck email from Valve. Sure, the company has apparently ironed out its supply chain issues, but the pandemic isn’t over yet and more complications could follow.

However, the Steam Deck Reservation update will come as a relief to many, as Valve has already delayed some pre-orders to Q3. However, we’re also waiting for an update to the official Steam Deck, as the accessory’s release was delayed indefinitely a few months ago.

Who knows, maybe the unreleased hub will soon shake its vaperware status. However, if it is more expensive than the Jsuax Steam Deck Dock, it may be hard to justify the extra expense.
