EA ruined another game?! – F1 22 reviews – INDIAN

Every year I look forward to the start of a new Formula 1 season and equally look forward to the fact that we, as players, will get the current season in virtual form. I always hope that we get more than just a revamped racing field and other little things like improved graphics, artificial intelligence and the like. So when the Breaking Point story mode came out last year, I thought Cody was already on his way to harnessing the hidden potential of this racing circus. I’ve been looking forward to this year’s release even more because we’ve been anticipating new technical guidelines that reflect technical changes from the real world. But there is one thing I was worried about last year. Codemasters is already part of EA, and although it wasn’t as noticeable in the last part, it already feels like the F1 game will not be as clean as it was before.

The Formula 1 racing series is experiencing a renaissance. The fan base is growing, so it’s no surprise that every installment in the F1 game series sells more with each release. Codemasters has 12 years of experience with this game, so I had no doubt that they would plausibly transfer the new technical principles to virtual racing. The new cars have larger, lower profile tires, a new front fender, all chassis, side panels, and so on. In a word, this year we have completely different cars than in previous years. And with the exception of dolphin hopping, i.e. jumping single-seat cars mostly in a straight line, it gives you a believable simulation of your play corners. The rear of the car is not as calm and is much more sensitive to tearing.

I’m sure there will be someone who will say that if I have some assistants enabled, why am I viewing this game. And I have a simple answer: it is better to have fun racing than to be in the barrier on the first corner. Of course, even in this case, it may happen that during overtaking you start to brake late, spin or simply underestimate vertex turns. At this point, you can use time reversal and try to be more careful, or this mode also works like a photo shoot. There is nothing more beautiful than to first take a picture of how you ended up in the wall, and then return to the track.
